Our Client has recently launched their new strategy ‘Bringing Choices to Life’ and are seeking to appoint another two trustee roles to the Board of Three Cs.

Experience and skills

  • Lead in Safeguarding: experience in social care and/or safeguarding. Knowledge of what the law, best practice and regulation say organisations should do about Experience and knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable adults an advantage.
  • Lead in Marketing and Communications: experience of marketing, communications, corporate affairs, public relations and/or track record of fundraising (e.g. major donors, legacy, sponsorship, alumni giving) and/or running advocacy campaigns that engage audiences with the mission/purpose of an organisation, ideally in this sector.

 

Three Cs diverse and dynamic board members are active in the commercial, public, and third sectors. As an organisation we have developed and grown services aimed at people who are managing their personal budgets, as well as services contracted by local health and social care commissioners. Our Board regularly considers projects to provide new services to improve outcomes for people. We invest to promote and deliver social inclusion.

Primary Duties

Trustees/Non-Executive Directors are responsible for the strategic direction and governance of the organisation. The Board meets up to six times a year, normally in the evening; additional time may be required for occasional Committee meetings and other events. Board members are encouraged to visit the sites and projects of the organisation and meet the people we support. 

Additional Information

Board members are volunteers, although agreed expenses will be paid. Three Cs provides training to Board members to support them to understand their role and effectively carry out their duties.
